GENERAL INFORMATION
Seismic Design of R.C. Structures
Edisis is a Windows program for designing multi-storey buildings in reinforced concrete, with static or dynamic seismic analysis and reinforcements design based on limit state or admissible stress criteria. The structure is defined in a graphical environment or through numerical input. The input has the support of utility functions such as copy level and duplication options, the import of DXF drawings and automatic synchronization of data windows. The overall organization of work environment is user friendly, very intuitive and efficient. The entire project can be completed in one session, in a very short time, with minimal user effort.
Standard Windows Menu
The operation flow is drived by a standard menu bar, whose options and sub-options are activated by a mouse click, as shown in the following image. Acconding to the current state of analysis, some options are disactivated while the allowable ones appear in black. Each option is associated to a graphical icon in the task bar, for a quick visual addressing. Below the menu there is a task bar allowing quick access to the most frequent options that can be activated directly by clicking on the button.
Windows Interface
All options activated from the menus have data windows containing general or detail information necessary or useful to complete the design. Each data window has a title bar top and accompanied, where necessary, status bars, fields and edit grids and pop-up menu.
Copy, Cut and Paste
It is possible to apply standard operations like "copy, cut and paste" on data entered in eah cell of the window. To duplicate a data into multiple boxes you need just enter it once, copy it by clicking "CTRL + C" command and place the data in the other cells with "CTRL + V" command. To cut the data and keep it in memory you need to use the CTRL + X. As you can see EDISIS uses all standards commands adopted by the most popular Windows applications.
Capturing Images
You can capture images on video simply using standard routines for Windows. The drawings captured can be used into other applications and used in different ways.
Device control
The device management is completely entrusted to Windows. Edisis connects directly to the device's default settings ensure a print management spreadsheets and drawings fully transparent. La gestione delle periferiche è completamente affidata a Windows. Edisis si collega direttamente alle impostazioni della periferica predefinita garantendo una gestione della stampa dei tabulati e dei disegni del tutto trasparente.
Help Command
The user can be easly supported while using EDISIS with complete easy to use HELP functions. By pressing F1 on the keyboard a data window will be displayed with information on quantities available in the active sheet. The information relates to both, data entry and meaning of results.
